From the apartment you can cover your daily needs on foot. The downtown pedestrian area also offers clothing, shoes, books, jewelry and souvenirs for family and friends. Around the city center you will find parking with and without charges.

  • Bahlsen Outlet: at the Vareler harbor, not on foot. A great place to stock up on holiday and home travel with reasonably priced relaxation foods such as cookies, chocolates, cakes and snacks. Remember to show your coupon book before scanning the goods, there is a 10% discount.
  • Weekly market: Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm at Neumarktplatz
  • Dog food and treatse: Futterspezi Zookauf, Am Pfarrgarten 4
  • Vegetarian and vegan: We cover our needs mainly at famila, where you will find vegetarian and vegan products from different manufacturers for all meals, Aldi, netto and Lidl have a small range of vegetarian food and beverages and in the city center there is a health food store.
  • Shopping: Pedestrian downtown, Deichmann, Action and Takko on the main road
  • Financial institutions: LzO, OLB, Postbank, RV in the pedestrian zone or on the way there, ATM of the RV in the famila

Almost all restaurants either do something vegetarian or prepare something. Vegan has not arrived yet in Varel.
